To ensure your final painting exceeds expectations, I follow a detailed and professional research process:
1. The Creative Brief Every commission begins with a detailed conversation. To start, I require a brief that includes:
Dimensions: What is the ideal size for your wall?
Budget: This helps me determine the scale and complexity of the materials (e.g., use of Gold Leaf or specific canvases).
Inspiration: Please provide photos of your space, or references to my previous works that you find most compelling.
2. Seamless Integration: Color Matching I specialize in creating art that lives in harmony with your interior design. If you are looking to complement a specific room, you are welcome to provide color charts or fabric swatches. I will use these as a guide to ensure the palette of the painting blends perfectly with your home’s decor.
3. Creative Interpretation (Not Replication) It is important to note that a commission is an original interpretation, not a direct copy. While I can work in the style of other artists or recreate the feeling of a sold piece, every stroke is unique. I do not provide direct replicas, ensuring that your piece remains an exclusive original.
Because a bespoke commission requires significant research, material costs, and dedicated studio time, the following terms apply:
Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required once the brief and price are agreed upon. This covers the initial research, high-end materials, and the artist's time.
Balance: The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the work, prior to shipping.
Authenticity: Every commissioned piece comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
